First edition of this work considered to be the fi rst anti-semitic book published. It contains, in the form of a dialogue between Paul and Saul, a refutation of Jewish objections to the Christian faith. Paulus de Sancta Maria (c. 1351-1435) was a Spanish Jew who converted to Christianity and became archbishop of Burgos in 1415.
